Initially there was one girl behind the bar. She was focused on serving down the far end of the bar. So quite a wait. Bad for a Saturday night. Then another girl appeared. But she needed to chat with the chef for a while before bothering to serve
Lovely food and fast service. What spoiled it was kids screaming and running between chairs and tables where people were trying to enjoy an evening meal. Not once did any of the 'adults' they were with take any responsibility for them. Absolutely disgusting! 4 stars for the pub but the brats ruined it!!
Food was a bit hit and miss. Prices were excellent and service was good. Kids meal jacket potato half was a bit hard and didn't come with butter (although it was provided when we asked) and corn on cob for both meals was solid. Other than that, kids meals were nice. Adult meals were nice but lasagne portion size was tiny so my friend went a bit hungry! We didn't make an issue as we were all hungry. Would return and try again if we were in the area
Had a wonderful meal served by staff who had obviously been providing top quality service all lunchtime. The only thing to spoil the experience were a group of small minded people (who had a small baby with them!) who made it vocally obvious that they objected to my daughter discreetly breastfeeding her 3 week old baby. She was made to feel very awkward whilst performing the most natural act in the world. To those people... Do one! To the staff at the Two Brothers thank you for a fab meal.
Great friendly local pub. Thanks for the lovely food last night at our Xmas get together. Staff are always so friendly and helpful. Always feel comfortable popping in on my own.
